Frequently asked questions
Sabine has worked as a professional travel advisor since March 1989, when she completed her initial training at a travel academy and began working with an agency. Over nearly four decades, she has earned industry credentials including ASTA, CLIA, The Travel Institute, and Tauck Certified Specialist status. Her personal love of travel goes back even further. She moved to Stuttgart, Germany in 1977 as a child when her father was stationed there with the U.S. Army, and has traveled internationally for as long as she can remember.
If you want a river cruise or a small-ship trip during a popular season, 6 to 12 months ahead gives us the best shot at the good cabins.
Call me or fill out the contact form on this site. I'll ask about what you like, what you don't, and your budget, then come back with a plan built around that.
You can reach me before, during, and after your trip. If something comes up while you're traveling, I'm already in touch with the cruise line or tour operator, so we fix it fast instead of you being stuck on hold.
Yes, and I do this often. I handle the group cabins, the private touring, and the group rates, all the parts that get complicated when more people are involved.
I've personally been to over 100 countries, on all seven continents. So wherever you're thinking about, there's a good chance I've already been there.
I plan the itinerary, pick the cabin or room, sort out flights and transfers, and stay in touch with the people on the ground. You only end up dealing with one person, me.
I'm certified to work with Tauck, Viking, Seabourn, Regent Seven Seas, Silversea, Oceania, Scenic, Uniworld, AmaWaterways, Abercrombie & Kent, Micato Safaris, Kensington Tours, and PONANT. If one of these fits what you're looking for, I can get you in.
Cruises are a big part of what I do, but not all of it. I also plan safaris, private guided tours, and trips built entirely around what you actually want to do, whether that's food, culture, or somewhere quiet.
